The Daily Dose x “Grown Up Kid (Live @ DefZee.com Launch)”
Don’t forget you can watch the OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO HERE . . . as in . . . HERE TOO.
Enjoy.
Live in Effect x “Weekend Come” @ 10.10.10.
I think for sure this was one of my favourite performances of the night, cos I don’t think anybody was expecting me to get my sing on and for a dance tune too. So yeah that low-key ticked me pink.
Peace & Love
Live in Effect x “Freestyle” @ 10.10.10. (LIVE)
You might even be able to hear it in my voice, but at this point I was dead tired. Coming to the end of a 1hr+ show . . . in fact the first time I’d ever carried an hour long show myself.
I performed the whole of SOTG2 then the people wanted to hear some of SOTG1, so naturally, you give the people what they want.
And as if by my magic, we closed it out with a freestyle.
Best night of my life
Live in Effect x “Bad Habits” Tehn Diamond @ 10.10.10.
Its not secret the kinda Maxwell fan I am, so for me it was a no brainer to try and put a little #SOTG twist on my favourite tune from the crooner. So above is the first performance of my rendition of “Bad Habits”. Naturally, I had to make the most of a beautiful audience.
Enjoy
Live in Effect x “Breathe” (Acapella) @ 10.10.10.
“Don’t pity my city, my city’s too smart”
This is one of those verses that I wrote knowing that whenever I perform it, I really want people to overstand it. Its a special verse to me, I think cos it captures well how so many of young Zimbabweans in and outside the country feel about the way we are portrayed or viewed as a nation. Particularly when we know and believe our nation is worth so much more.
So yeah, here it is the second verse of Breathe.
Live in Effect x “Your Party’s Over” @ 10.10.10.
I really wasn’t kidding when I said that I’m gonna be giving you Tehn Diamond content, everyday till twenty-TEHN is over. A promise is a promise yo !
Enjoy.

If you in Harare on the 4th December, come through to ILL’s release party for his album “Legacy” !!!

“I’m the best man, as if my best friend was getting married !!”
Like 7 months ago, I got the chance to facebook chat with Theophilus London, and I ask him what 5 pieces of advice he could share with a young up & comer like myself…..he did so.
The most important thing I took away though, was him saying to perform…do shows….whether its inf ront of 5 or 5000 people. So thats something I’ve kept with me, and to see someone like J. Cole who is world’s away from where I am in my career…applying the same wisdom I was given….and just giving his all no matter what.
I love that.
J. Cole ain’t playing at all though. Damn.

“No one man should have all that POWER !!!”

To say that I love this song would be a gross understatement. It gives me the chills. Its so massive. According to my itunes, I’ve played 134 times since it landed on my laptop & only God knows how many times on my iPhone.
This man gives his entire everything to everything he puts out there. The above performance is no different. Its just crystal clear by every move that he makes, that he is tryna be more amazing than the last time.
I laughed so hard when folk tried to tell me he was finished after the VMA incident, but you only gotta watch a few seconds of this video to know that they was telling bold-faced lies…..and I’m allergic to those.
The G.O.O.D. music lives on. #Fact

“We go through “Epidodes II,” like “Attack of the Clones”s”
Needless to say I love this tune, even more so cos’ it spawned one of my favourite remixes ever. With Mos Def, Jay-Z, Kanye and even Busta getting called in to do damage. Have a listen
Shit is waaaaaay epic…..who you reckoned kilt it though ?
