The Daily Dose: Shitty Days
I dunno about the rest of you, but I struggle to have truly shitty days. For me in my life, in my mind and my eyes, the shittiest day I ever had was the day my parents split and my pops left the crib. The trouble with that is when I look back on it now, I fully accept and realise that, that very day is part of why I am who I am today. And in case isn’t quite clear yet, I very much love the person I am today.
Sure, I wish my parents were still together, but I’m more scared of who it is I woulda become had they not split up.
I dunno if its the reason for why I choos enot to live in the pass, or merely the reason why i know I shouldnt live in the past.
Either way, I’m very much happy in the now. Life at the end of the day is an amazing gift, and it really is a gift. Its somethiing we were given on our birthdays, in fact 9 months before.
I get down and upset at times, but I try as hard as I can to get myself back on track and thinking in line with a greater perspective.
Days come and go, life starts and then it ends, why waste ur time on having a shitty life or a shitty day ?
And I’m not saying the shit won’t come at ya, I’m just saying, slow it down and view it in a better light.

1. The rest of my #NSOA team is back in town and ready to get to work.

Aite so earlier this week, namely Monday, I claim about why I hadn’t been giving the blog enough love….and one of the excuses that I put forth was my twitter addiction.
Well you know what ? I take it back, I may be a twitterholic but that place has done more than just help me step my procrastination game right up its also been awesome in terms of networking with talent.
@ShadeCobain is such a talent, I’ve only known dude for like a few months via twitter and through my homeboy from The Chi, Eduardo (ha ha ha ha)….

Dude is a crazy dope producer from somewhere in AmericaLand…he mentioned that it was a place named Pittsburgh…so yea now you now, but seriously though I’ve been bumping his latest beat tape “Casette Theory” heavily the past two weeks. Its just dopeness.
I didnt realise producers actually put this much effort into beat tapes, as far as concept and just even the way its presented. So I’m super stoked to know dude, and hopefully I get to work with him soon.

Yea thats right I have nothing to say. In fact I’d rather not say anything today. So how’s about we try a different sort of blog post today.
Let’s just sit in silence for a few minutes and just smile. Stare at the screen and smile.
So many people forget the power of the smile and I think thats said.

The Daily Dose: Okaaay I’m Reloaded !!!
Wow, I have neglected the blogness for a minute now. Why ? Well blame it on twitter and blame it on The Wolrd Cup, which by the way I’m super glad is over. Ironically, because I decided to watch the final and make silly bets I’m now banned from twitter for the next 48hours….yea I bet my twitter addiction on #NED and paid for it.
