The Blog Report: www.DDotOmen.com
Yes, I haven’t posted a full blog post in a while. But as you all know by now I’ve been tryna focus on what needs to get done offline i.e. the writing, the recording, the networking
But today, I decided I really needed to step my game up as far as reaching out to hip-hop blogs about my music and what I’m tryna do as far as making the world at large aware of what Zimbabwe has to offer the world of hip-hop.
The only way I know to do this is to see at this laptop and email all my favourite hip-hop blogs and make my case. Today I sat here and emailed for at least 6 hours, in fact I’m still going. And I even mentioned on my facebook page that if even 1 person got back to me I’d be beyond stoked…..well ummm I”M STOKED !!
The site I’m writing about today is DDotOmen.com aka The DMV’s Front Office. I’ve been following this blog for some months now mainly because I like the fact that they don’t seem to give a fuck about staying in line with whats hot right now according to the rest of the blogosphere.
Which is how they ain’t afraid to something like this:
Thats right after 6 hours I finally got a little blog love, click on the image to read it. Nothing special to some, but more than major to me.
But I digress, these guys buck the trend often enough to keep you coming back. Also because for the life of me I couldn’t figure what on earth a DMV is, I figured sooner or later I’d figured it out if I paid enough attention. (UrbanDictionary.com held me down though, check it)
So do me a favour and go check the site, for those of you who don’t know The DMV area is where Wale is from, but they have a whole heap of talent out there that you never heard before. So expand your horizons and indulge yourselves. Look I’ll even give you the link you need here
Also if ur a twitter head, be sure to get your follow on. I’ve witnessed some of the most hilarious debates and exchanges on this page.
And with that said, I’m off to continue spreading my own word because you never know who’s listening.
Peace,Love & persistence…

But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
