The Daily Dose: Stealing Strawberry Kisses
She was amazing in a way,
That only stars are when they shine,
And her smile,
Lit up the moments of my life,
And while I knew enough to keep her heart,
Would love live on with time,
Or will I always hope one day she’s truly mine.
* So yeah this is the first verse of a song I’m working on. Its more just working itself. I think I have a beautiful bridge melody lined up for it too. Just gotta dig it out the soul a little more.
one of my biggest questions is whether to write it in the past tense as above, or in the present tense as below ? Lemme know what you think…
