Dreaming of a Nightmare

So its like 8am here in Singapore…keep mind I went to bed at 5:30am….jet-lag and late night maccas be damned !! Anyway I just woke up from what should really have been a nightmare like it was full on and scary, but it I ended up turning it into the most empowering affirmation/epiphany…

Can’t quite remember it too clearly, but here’s the basic run down. There were these two weird creatures chasing me, a female one and a male one. They were both very ugly, and clearly not of our planet. So maybe on mars they beautiful…but round here they were for sure not any countries next top models…they were scary or at least i was scared of them.

So I ran. Naturally being ugly nightmare alien things they chased me.

Up some crazy hard to run up hill, which is why I suspect I still feel tired.

Then down the stupid hill and like into this mass dip or valley which seemed to be filled with what I can only describe as “looked like lava…felt like mud…smelt like shit”….

Needless to say I wasn’t impressed. Did I mention how ugly they were, it comes back to me now..they were like troll ugly.

Anyway made the experience is that at some point between stinky lava mud and getting eaten or wateva these fuckers wanted to do to me, I just turned around and chased them back. I got hell mad and just chased the shit outta those bitches. They were shocked I did…

A few moments after doing that I woke up feeling like and knowing I could face anyting…I just felt strong and focused. A couple of ideas and thoughts I had b4 I went to be a mere 3 hours or so ago that were confusing me…came clear and answers were presented to me. Which I wrote down b4 i went to write this.

WOW !

Its just a trip cos’ I was very aware that I was dreaming while I was dreaming so I know that I actually made the concious decision to turn on those fuckers.

Okay well I’m going back to bed. Still tired as hell and we got a long day at The Club today..rehearsal at 2pm then i think we performing tonight till 4am.

Wats the craziest thing you’ve dreamed lately and wat do you think it meant ?

All in all…..Singapore looks and feels extra dope. I cant complain thus far. I’m chillin. Its been this way since the flight. Fuck jet lag it can eat my left nut…sorry mom if ya reading….but im feeling pretty good.

Ummm…Blame it on the Alcohol…..dunno why they made it so free up in the air like that. I coulda got scum-drunk had it not been for self restraint and my pass out after 4 policy….

Plus I dunno who told Air Zimbabwe that if they put me like one section away from business class in a pretty much empty plane, that I wouldnt wake up half way and realise that shit.

….needless to say I bumped myself up and did some serious reclining like my name was Maybach, after all I treat my damn home sofa like a G4 jet The male Air Hostess wasn’t too please with my “Let Me Upgrade U” view of my own life…..but he couldnt do much cos as most of you who know me know….my headhones stay kinda ON !!

So yea….I had a nice flight. Got nicely tipsy and feel great.

Time to get my professional face on. Wish me luck.

Anyway these Skittles here were whack. And I love skittles. Its been too long and I refuse to believe that all the real Skittles live in Brisane. That’d just be gay. Considering so much of what I love is in that damn city already.

Which reminds me….GO THE MAROONS !!! How the hell am I gonna miss State of Origin….now I’m stuck with soccer an normal rugby. AAAAAAH.

And then came the flood…

So after bitching and moaning my ass off the past few days…whoever it is who handles the inspiration department up in the heavens decided to rain down a little extra on my side…

And as usual it came as soon as I tried to lay my head down to rest last night…so at about 1am I hit the pen and pad….JOY

I’ve got a clearer idea of what the albums gonna be like…and its shaping up beautifully…I’m about 10 songs deep right now…

Wrote a dope ass hook for this track I’m calling “Jack-in-the-Box” its about the joys….oh the joys of going to a normal ass job day in and day out…think Office Space meets Hip-Hop meets TehN….so yea a littel tongue in cheek…but worth it right.

Also its looking like my prayers have been answered and the chance to really do this thing indie may have just presented itself…

So yea things are moving along at a nice pace. So watch this space.

By the album is gonna be called “The Re-Education of Tendai”

I’ll break the concept down for ya in the coming weeks. Its magic, along the same lines of the Higher LEarning mixtape but a little deeper.

Which reminds me….im also knee deep in tracks for my second mixtape…this time’s for the money !

Feeling fucken foul today. Dont ask me why, cos I dont know the answer.

But lets delve…

Im looking at my face like I dont own it. Its frowing at me, Its scowling at me and the whole time I wanna fucken know why he’s so mad..

Funny shit is I’m not even a tiny bit in….the real drama and the stress has yet to come….or is this it…is this the big test.

Last night someone said to me that I’m a failure…and I can’t stand that cos I dont view myself as a failure. So yea I didn’t make it through college….but I didn’t want to and I couldnt. Maybe I’m a fool for that….mayeb if I’d just followed the rules I’d be fine…

What are the rules truly worth. Wat is their purpose. Are they not just there to keep us in line and stop us from flying higher….higher than you higher than all the bullshit.
