I’ve gotta be all the way real. I was never much of an NWA fan (so maybe i should be jumping out a window myself…hmmm)…in fact I’ve never been a big fan of the Westcoast in general when it came to rap….yep not even Pac. Like don’t get me wrong I respect his passion and straight up hip-hop poetry…but he just wasn’t for me…and i copped a lotta shit all my hip-hop years for that…but I stand by it…he just wasn’t talking to me.

I digress though….so the first time I heard this track though, I dug it immediately…just for the beat…its just such a groove and I can’t deny a groove.

Then when Statik Selektah reproduced that beat and Termanology got at it like last year….I was sold. So yeah I got the instrumental and got at it….And naturally I had to keep tradition alive and start with that classic line…

I’m not gonna put it up here cos’ I think its time I retired that verse….at least for now…you never know…that shit may just come back like Jordan wearing the ’45…I HAVE NO QUALMS w/ staging a comeback on ur asses. LOL.

Things is when it came time to do the mixtape, the verse just fit the whole theme of the track for me….and if the shoe fits…
