I initially copped a little flack from the “real heads” over spitting on this beat. But being the suburban urban wordsmith I am…I said fuck it…lets rattle the cage a little….so I did.

Its kinda early in the game as far as my career and you getting to know me as an artist are concerned but i thought this’d be a good track to let you in on a few things about ME….TehN Diamond.

In my music & in my career as a whole….this is assuming I end up with a career….I want people to know that I’m aiming to stand for just honest and musical music. I used to have delusions of massive radio-play and top 40 magic….but once i actually started writing and got down to the nitty-gritty of finding who I am…or at least who I want to be…I realised I really didnt give a shit…I wanna reach people..people like me…people who can relate…people unafraid to live,love and enjoy…everything that comes with life….from the sad to the bad…the ups and downs….the good shit….the great shit….wateva makes us human.

All the flash and bling-bling really aint me. Cos like the Strong Arm Steady told me “Money Dont Make You Rich”

So yeah honesty and reality….thats what I’m tryna stand for and that’ll never change. And I guess its up to me, but also up to you folk as “fans” to help keep it that way.

With that said though.. HOW I do things….and actually go about being honest and being real in my music….that’ll always change. I’ve gotta grow and I’ve gotta experience and experiment through my music always…whether its singing a hook here….or spitting a bar extra there….rocking out a little…or bringing that funky soul shit….its all an option…I refuse to live in a box.

I wrote this verse to something else…and I thought I’d fuck with the purists by spitting it over a Madonna track.

The highlight of this joint for me is the crazy deep “KRONIC” drop right at the start…I can’t deny it one bit DJ Kronic really brought the heat when he mixed this baby up. With all that said, if anyone has any ideas for instrumentals of other tracks they think they might enjoy me putting a spin on…lemme know in the comments but lemme know why too..
