There is without a doubt nothing better than the 2nd half of the second semester…maybe not in the UK or in the States…but in the Southern Hemisphere…Australia in particular…thats the middle of summer…

Now the middle of summer for any dude @ university with any sense (or lack thereof) is the time of the year when no assignments get done on time….most classes are still filling up 10 to 15mins into the….

Why ?

Cos when the heat come out….so do the hot honeys with the short skirts and the tank tops and pretty summer dresses…..and in that summer season…I swear the whole fate of your degree hangs in the balance….cos its hard work tryna pulla ya eyes away…

Kinda sad and childish but oh so true. And in my first year thats pretty much all I could do, stop and stare….needless to say I was a fish outta water….wet behind the ears and shy as balls….the when I finally got up the courage to actually step to anyone….months later I always seemed too broke to do much with a date..

So yea….this song is that….I had fun though and learnt to just be me and work with what I had. lucky me and landed up with a sweet young lady who couldnt care less what I’m worth.

Its no secret to those who know me that I like to recycle and revamp my lines where I see fit…and this is one of those tracks that I have a vision for….I’ve got a sweet hook all lined up for it (not that Avery Storm didnt kill it with Rick Ross..but I got PLANS)…the track’s called Summer(Just Way Too Hot) and with any luck I’m gonna get Andre on it. Or I might just sing it myself….why not ?
